Canada's Dog Trainer Jill Priest (née Skorochod) has successfully taught thousands of families how to train their dogs to become safe, well-mannered family pets. Jill is one of only a handful of trainers in Ontario to have earned the designation of Certified Pet Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed(CPDT-KA) through the Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainers (CCPDT). The CPDT examination is the only truly independent certification available in the dog training industry, and the CCPDT requires its members to participate in ongoing professional education to maintain their certification status.

Before becoming a dog-training instructor, Jill spent more than 15 years teaching and coaching adult and youth learners in a variety of disciplines. Thrilled with the opportunity to combine her professional skills with her love of dogs, Jill apprenticed under an extensive training program created by leaders in the dog training industry and continues to study with leading dog experts from around the world.

Jill is the owner and head trainer at Time and Patience Dog Training in Toronto and Simcoe County,

where she provides the best in puppy socialization and companion dog-training classes.

She also offers private, in-home training to families with hectic schedules,

or specific behavioural issues to address.

When she is not teaching people to train their dogs, Jill makes her home

in Toronto with Smudge, Ginger, Dory, and Bodhran, her four Bullmastiffs,

along with Henry the Catahoula Leopard Dog and Penelope, the Presa Canario.
